January 11, 2013 (Charlotte, NC)- HGTV Design Star Finalist, Will Smith, of Interior Motives modern furniture showroom made a guest appearance on Fox Charlotte’s, The Wilson Show at the Common Market on Jan. 14. Wilson used his show segment as a platform to introduce random items, businesses, and fun things available in Charlotte’s South End including the modern and chic, Smith.

Will Smith began his career in interior design after discovering his true passion for art, eventually motivating him to open his own design firm in February 2000. Smith has appeared in HGTV’s Design Star Season two as a fan favorite along with gaining many notables as clients. After finishing the show, Smith opened his showroom in April 2011. Smith believes in introducing bold, colorful and modern designs to homes across the world.

“I give the client my portfolio and magazine, have them show me their likes and dislikes so that I may assess their taste and interpret their style, remembering, that if a space is designed tastefully, it can define the clients style,” said Smith.
